A mother and daughter go on a weekend trip to a small town in the country. At a mystical beach, they share a moment that catches both of them by surprise.
GRACE WANG is a writer, filmmaker and producer. She programmed for film festivals, penned a feature column on films and China, and was one of Roger Ebert’s Far-Flung Correspondents. Her first two short films, I REMEMBER (2013) and LONESOME TOWN (2013), screened at festivals Canadian and international. Her latest film, THE TRIP, is winner of Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival Pitch Competition and supported by National Film Board of Canada. Grace was a fellow of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival Talent Lab. She is developing her first narrative feature script.
