+ Short film “Lights Beneath My Feet”

Upon learning of a friend’s injury, Michael embarks on a pilgrimage across the desert to reach him, with the belief that he will perform a miracle of healing. Part road movie and part spiritual fable, Murray’s enigmatic film employs a cast of mostly local non-professional actors, and moments often feel as if they could be documentary. The film’s cinematography is sure-handed and subtly composed, yet it maintains its natural, meandering sense of authenticity.
